however it might be worth it just to see how the other fractions react to humanity blowing up the god damn moon |
They'd die just like everyone else as the moon and hive ship's remains crash down to Earth, wiping out all life on the planet?

You forget--Teleport lasts a minute and you can do it once per round during that time. Just put the guy in a spacesuit and send him on his way.
...actually, there should really be a LOT more para-psychic teleporting assassins, considering that. |

| I'm pretty sure they could spam enough two-man fighters to get someone close enough. The hard part would be finding someone trustworthy and capable enough to undertake the mission. |

Sounds like an ad for temp work... _________________ Those guys from the Rapine Storm are funny, when you think of it. Do you know they sometimes kill their victims by banging them too much ? Men, women, they don't discriminate. They eat the bodies afterwards, Sgt Tarka, failing his last psych exam. |

Sounds like we need Rogue Squadron!
Sounds exactly like you're giving the Hive Ship a case of TRD
On the Parapsycic teleporter front, I'm sure that something like the Hive ship would have wards in any of the more critical places. |

Indeed, there are Migou sorcerers aren't there? I imagine the Hive Ship would have some fearsome magical defences. _________________ Lord of Misrule's Storytelling Resources |

I just realised that this is exactly the kind of thing you'd use Zoners for ;-)
Also, quite aside from all the warding etc., Migou precogs would surely mean that there was a bomb-disposal squad and a sniper waiting for you when you materialised inside the hive ship. |

But using human precogs, you could jump to a place that you KNOW they wouldn't be expecting!
Wards wouldn't let you get close to anything important (and they couldn't ward the whole thing--it's as big as a moon, after all!), but all you need is to get within 75 miles and then set off one of the weapons that Dr. Weisskopf was working on. Instant Zone inside the Hive Ship. |

He's onto us. Deploy Bravo Team.

Yeah, I expect that's why using precognition to plan attacks doesn't work so well. If both are using it, you keep getting new visions that take into account that the other guy is also seeing the future, a little bit like The Minority Report. |
