As stated in subject, we have no new news on release dates. Once there is news you'll be the first to know. _________________ Major Richard Winters: "Captain Sobel, you salute the rank, not the man." |

I think it's the Devs saying "BACK OFF!" to a lot of people.
The Devs here are awesome people. They like to be in touch with their fanbase and hear what we have to say. It's an interesting strategy for a company to do on such a scale, to have constant and almost real time access to the people buying their product.
BUT I can imagine they are getting tired of being nagged. No one likes t obe pestered constantly. While they appreciate enthusiasm, constantly bugging them about release dates does NOTHING for you or them but add stress to their end.
They run a business. A creative business. Sometimes people have their "muse" leave them for a time (it's hard for some people to put into words, but sometimes you simply can not create. Stress usually does not help.). Sometimes crap happens outside of their control on a technical level. Sometimes it's simply human error. There are a lot of people involved in a company like this. Writers, editors, artists, printing staff. A lot of places something can go wrong and hold things up. Constantly asking does not help in any way unless you are one of the people involved.
So in short, stop asking so damn much and take what information they can pass out as it comes.
Think of this way, did asking your parents "Are we there yet?" ever get you anything but snapped at? I don't think so, and personally this is one car I don't want turned around. ^_^ |

Actually, its a normal sign of a small established RPG publisher. Only the large RPG publishers can reliably disclose release dates, and even they struggle (White Wolf). _________________ Aeon Angelus Necronomicon, Lambs of a Nameless God & To Kill a Lie

Hey now! That's not fair. It takes White Wolf a long time to perfect their complete and handy indexes.... |

I don't normally go around demanding specific dates, but I do like knowing a general time frame (ie summer, spring, March- April, etc.) so that I can set aside money for the book lines that I'm following.
Essentially, this makes it easier on me to keep up with what I'm looking to buy and allows me to buy books sooner than I could otherwise. |

| Well, I would remind people that back in December he did say First Quarter sometime. That's still 3 more months. We can all be patient and wait. Better to wait for something we're going to love into pieces then get something that's not nearly as good as it could have been. |

There's nothing wrong. I've stated that we don't have any release dates yet continue to be asked about it. We don't withhold information like release dates if we have them. That's just silly. What I can say is that Ancient Enemies has been finished since last August and Unveiled Threats is only a few pieces of art away from completion. We've been stretching out development on products while awaiting shelf dates since we're technically ahead. We also have some other projects occupying our time. (Cthonian Stars and Drow War).
Cheers,
